United For Peace Film Festival (UFPFF) is held in conjunction with Peace Day, September 21, designated by the United Nations. This year, the 13th UFPFF was held at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya in Tokyo and was held for the first time as a joint event with the general incorporated foundation PEACE DAY, as one of the main actions of “PEACE DAY WEEK” held from September 15 (Fri.) to September 21 (Thu.) on September 18 (Mon.) , and nearly 200 people attended the festival. Recording the Peace of the Town – A Half Century of Local Cultural Contribution (Seiyou Sen/ Sophia University / China)
Synopsis : The world’s smallest TV station is located in Miyota-machi, Nagano Prefecture. For more than 40 years, the two-member staff, including president Shinichi Ishikawa, has been recording the town’s “peace” every day without fail. As the town’s “recorder,” he is literally a community-based broadcaster. Today, he is still running around the town.

Synopsis : Ms. Lien, a Vietnamese technical intern, who was subjected to power harassment at her workplace and was unable to quit her job due to restrictions on changing technical internship jobs, had to put up with it for a long time. with the support of NPO POSSE, she joined the labor union and defended her rights. After resolving their problems, these women took to the streets to help other foreign workers.
