This year, the 14th UFPFF was held at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya in Tokyo and was held for the first time as a joint event with the general incorporated foundation PEACE DAY, as one of the main actions of &#8220;PEACE DAY WEEK&#8221; held\u00a0 from September 16 (Mon.) to September 21 (Sat.) on September 16 (Mon.) . Part 1 was the PEACE DAY Special Program. The second part was the UFPFF 2024. And over 300 people attended the festival. Thank you very much for your attendance. The opening talk session was followed by a screening of \u201cBouquet\u201d (executive producer: Shunji Iwai, music: SUGIZO), Sahel Rosa&#8217;s first film as a director. The Peace Selection film \u201cPalestine Islands\u201d from the Sapporo International Short Film Festival 2024 was screened. After the screening, Mr. Toshiya Kubo, director of this film festival, took the stage and talked about the episode of film selection and the appeal of Sapporo International Short Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>The Peace Day Talk was moderated by Mr. Tsuyoshi Ito, President of asobot inc. and featured Ms. Sumiko Hatakeyama, Co-President of Peace Boat, who spoke about how we can think and act on themes such as war and peace based on their own experiences.
